Klima representatives flew to Bonn, Germany, in June of 2024 to observe, assess, and learn from the 60th Sessions of the UNFCCC Subsidiary Bodies, or SB60. Essentially, the June UN Climate Meetings are held in preparation for the Conference of the Parties (COP). In Bonn, parties hold negotiations to help set agenda items for COP.
For SB60, Klima followed discussions on the Global Stocktake, loss and damage, the Mitigation Work Programme, the Just Transition Work Programme, the New Collective Quantified Goal, and Action for Climate Empowerment and youth dialogues.
The articles in this e-zine are a product of Klima’s participation in SB60.
