Technical Training for Waveform Station Operators of Joint IMS and USGS Stations

Efren Morales, one of the Davao Seismic Station operators, underwent this technical training in Vienna, Austria on September 16-20, 2013.

The seminar provided station operators with basic and technical knowledge of the operations, maintenance, and management of a joint USGS/ASL and IMS Auxiliary Seismic Station. It includes training on configuration and maintenance of all the hardware and software components, and discussion of typical operation situations.
